Music

Music classes are one hour in length and take place at Bellefair Church each Wednesday.

The music program at Voice Intermediate aims to foster an understanding of the basic elements of music through music appreciation, singing, the identification of metres, musical composition and performance. The historical context of music, in relation to political events, social and philosophical movements, is explored each academic year

Students engage in two singing performances per year. These take place in partnership with our theatre performances at Bellefair Church Stage.

Dance

The dance program at Voice continues to be extremely popular among students. Still headed by professional dancer/choreographer Nicole Bemister, our dance classes provide students with valuable opportunities to express themselves through dance and creative movement. The focus is Hip-Hop and Modern media. Students will showcase their talents during school performances, and demonstrate collaborative skills through dance pieces requiring the synchronization of various movements, a collective effort, and intensive group work
