The following criteria are weighted equally when considering admission to V.I.S.:

• Previous academic achievement 

• A history of cooperative behaviour in other settings/previous schools

• Motivation to attend V.I.S.

• A willingness to learn and participate in all aspects of the curriculum

• Reference letter from past teacher, coach or mentor
