Severe Weather Conditions
There are times when severe weather conditions require us to close the school. These are extreme situations that may occur during the winter months when road conditions are unsafe, and during heavy snow storms. We want to ensure the safety of both our students and our teachers during times when weather conditions require extreme caution.
On any given day, if you feel that it is unsafe for you to drive, then chances are that the school will close. Call early in the morning to check for a message announcing a school closure.
In the event of severe or deteriorating weather conditions, it is best to keep kids at home if possible. Parents and guardians should also be prepared to pick up their child (or make arrangements) if weather conditions rapidly deteriorate during the school day.
