Happy New Year Everyone!

We hope you had a merry Christmas, a happy Hanukah and a great New Year. A million thanks from all of us at V.I.S. for your good wishes and gifts sent before the holidays. We all needed the break and we are now ready to return to school and dive into Term II. The kids are ready as well. They have thus far shown that they are setting goals toward excellent academic achievement this term. Let's see!

Kawartha - Jan 12-14

A reminder that permission forms (including pink form Appendix G) and payment for Kawartha are due immediately. Please read all forms carefully and check to make sure that winter clothing is packed as recommended. Last year we faced bitter weather with temperatures as low as -30 Celsius. Also, please don't forget to pack a lunch for your child on Monday. Each student needs to have their own lunch upon arrival at Kawartha. Students must arrive at school by 7:00 am. Departure from Kawartha is on Wednesday at 1:00pm, and we will arrive back at the school at approximately 3:30pm. Cell phones will be allowed on this trip but cannot be taken out of the cabins during the day. Attending supervisors are Cathie Webb, Doreen Dotto, Jeff Gillespie and myself.
